DDA Competition Program – Summer Info
** ANY DANCERS WHO WISH TO TRY OUT FOR OUR 2019-2020 COMPETITION PROGRAM IN JAZZ, LYRICAL, HIP HOP, TAP, CONTEMPORARY, BALLET AND/OR MUSICAL THEATRE, NEED TO ATTEND AS MANY CLASSES IN THE STYLE YOU WANT TO TRYOUT FOR AS YOU CAN DURING JULY.
There is also a separate technique placement workshop that you will also need to sign up for and attend one of the sessions to complete your tryout.
Please attend the level of class noted on your final evaluation form. If your class did not have an evaluation, you will attend the level from last season.
As we watch the summer classes, there will be opportunities for advancement as the summer progresses and we see the technique needed from dancers to try the next level.
If you are a new dancer to DDA and have competition experience, please contact Miss Jeni to figure out the correct beginning summer level to start in for each style your dancer is interested in. Summer Classes start July 8th – August 1st
We have two options for dancers:
- Enroll in individual classes – tuition prices are on our tuition page
- Enroll in a week of unlimited classes – these MUST be at your dancers’ ability level. If you are a level 1 dancer, you may only come to level 1 classes in the different subjects. Unlimited week is $85/dancer
- Unlimited Summer Price is $285 (must enroll in individual classes)
- The Unlimited pricing does not include our summer camps and intensives.
